Kia of White Plains Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Posted: March 24, 2016

White Plains, NY, March 22, 2016:  On Tuesday, Kia of White Plains celebrated their Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.  The 8,665 SF renovation transformed this existing building into a state-of-the art Kia dealership, consisting of a display showroom, administrative offices and service center.

Kia of White Plains Owner, Dwight Dachnowicz, hired REDCOM Design & Construction, LLC for complete engineering and architectural design as well as construction of the new facility. REDCOM’s Designer and Project Superintendent, Cassandra Alberto and Warren Davis respectively, worked closely with the Owner to ensure the building received all township approvals and deadlines.

“It’s great,” said Dachnowicz on working with REDCOM. “They’ve been with us every step of the way.”

Chief Operating Operator of Kia Motors America, Michael Sprague, attended the ceremony as well.

“I’m really here to congratulate you [Dwight] and the team,” said Sprague. “Everything that’s happening here at Kia of White Plains is very exciting. So on behalf of our President, who couldn’t be here today, and the thousands of employees we have across the United States, we want to say thank you for your dedication to the Kia brand.”
