Holy Trinity Church’s Food Drive

The sunny weather matched the spirit of everyone involved with Holy Trinity’s Food Drive. Those in attendance included, Gregory J. Redington, President of REDCOM, Christopher Battiloro, Police Chief of Westfield, Father Anthony Randazzo, Deacon Keith Gibbons, Deacon Tom Pluta, Michael Ghabrial, Manager of Maintenance & Small Projects of REDCOM, and other members of Holy Trinity Church, the Westfield Police Department and REDCOM.

The REDCOM Design & Construction LLC team was able to raise $2,500 worth of monetary and food donations for the Food Drive. Between employee donations and a two-to-one corporate match, REDCOM staff members worked together to make a difference in this trying time. REDCOM was also able to provide custom t-shirts for all of the volunteers involved.

The first day of the food drive included the set-up of Holy Trinity’s food sorting tables and a collection organized by the Westfield Police Department in Westfield High School’s parking lot. The following day, volunteers sorted the food in Holy Trinity’s auditorium. This is second of three food drives that Holy Trinity organizes for the local community to get involved in.
